Event updates 3-15-21

Hey Lumberjack 100 racers and wait listers, the early Spring thaw in Michigan has us stoked to be riding single track and we hope you're all getting in some solid saddle time!! With about 3 months until race day, we’d like to share some updates so you know where things stand with event planning.

Our team continues to work with the National Forest Service, Sponsor Partners and Event Stakeholders to pull together all the details for the event. We realize there's still uncertainty with the pandemic, but we remain confident that we'll be able to run the event while following all State and CDC guidelines.  With that said, we may need to alter traditional event activities such as; packet pick up, support crews, team tents, race start, after race meal, awards, etc… Our number one priority is the safety of our racers, volunteers and staff. We will be making the necessary event alterations so everyone remains safe and comfortable attending. We plan to continue monitoring the pandemic and guidelines over the next eight weeks and will provide you with our final event plans and pandemic mitigation strategy by mid-May. 

Need to change race category? No problem, just log into BikeReg, select your registration, select "edit" and then "change category".

If your plans have changed and you can no longer race, you have a couple options:

1. Sell your entry to the first person on the wait list. Simply email us at lumberjackMTB@gmail.com and we will manually provide you a refund and move the next person on the wait list into your spot. (The person coming in off the wait list will select their race category, start wave, meal options....)

2. The other option is to sell/transfer your race entry to someone particular (e.g. friend or family). Here’s the process:

·       Find someone to purchase your registration.

·       The two parties determine the price of the transferred registration and make payment arrangements on your own.

·       The original registered racer logs into their BikeReg account, selects their race entry and clicks “transfer your entry”

·       Enter the email of the person transferring in.

·       The new racer will accept the registration, pay the $10 transfer fee and select their racing category, start wave, meal, etc… 

 

The deadline for category changes and transfers is June 2 at 5 P.M. EST.

** IF you are on the wait list and no longer want a spot should one become available, PLEASE REMOVE YOURSELF. Log into your registration and select "Remove Registration" to remove yourself from the waitlist. The waitlist is automated and will not prompt you before charging your credit card and moving you into the event! We cannot provide refunds for BikeReg service fees so save yourself some $$.

Lastly, as a reminder we have new Lumberjack 100 merchandise available on Bikereg for pre-order. Check out our lineup and place orders by April 30th for pick up on race day.
