Q: How do the race start waves work?

A: As part of the registration process you will select a start wave based on your anticipated finishing time. For racer safety and to alleviate some of the congestion at the race start we will have three start waves. Race Directors reserve the right to add, remove or adjust any waves and racer seeding. Your official start time will be when you cross the start mat. A: You can sell your entry to someone on the waitlist if there is someone waiting. Send us an email to: lumberjackmtb@gmail.com with “transfer” in the subject. If there’s someone on the waitlist you can sell your entry to them and that person will move into your place. The entry fee you paid to BikeReg will then get refunded to you in several business days via their system. If there isn’t anyone on the waitlist you’ll need to find someone to purchase your entry and follow the steps below.

The other option is to sell your race entry to someone ( a friend). The process is; finds someone to purchase your registration. The two parties determine the price of the transferred registration and make payment arrangements on your own. The original registered racer goes into their Bikereg race entry and selects “transfer your entry” and enter the email of the person transferring in.
